“Next Great Beverage Will Be Relaxation Drink”
Purple Stuff launched July 11th of 2008
Sippin Citrus ~
“Sippin Citrus is a very enjoyable product. Using a blend of crystalline
fructose and sucralose, the product delivers a clean citrus flavor that
has a bit of herbal and vitamin influence to it. It drinks similarly to
a CSD or an energy drink, but it has been branded as a "calming elixir"
due to its use of valerian root, rosehip, and L-theanine (and lack of
caffeine, of course). That added function -- and lack of caffeine -- make it
a nice option for consumers who are seeking something that tastes
functional but won't give them the shakes. Packaging has
a hippie whimsical feeling to it, which is certainly a fine
approach to a relaxation drink. - Bevnet.com
Berry Calming ~
“It's our favorite tasting flavor of the Purple Stuff lineup.
Like the other flavors in the lineup, the drink relies on the
use of B vitamins, rosehips, valerian root, and L-theanine.
The drink certainly made us calm”

Classic Grape ~
It's a classic grape soda flavor, dialed down to a manageable
level of sweetness and calories.

Lean Apple ~
While the Lean Apple flavor of Purple Stuff uses a green
colored can, the fluid inside is still purple. That's okay by us,
especially since the apple flavor of this product is quite
pleasant tasting. Like the other flavors, they've given this
product functional ingredients to promote relaxation and
calming. It's a well executed flavor that with 50 calories per
serving, has a pretty reasonable nutritional panel. Added
vitamins are a
plus, but ultimately it's the enjoyable flavor
that would keep us coming back for more.
Overall, a good entry to the brand.
